Advanced Learner Loan Bursary Fund
The Advanced Learner Loan is for people aged 19 and over who want to complete a Level 3 or 4 course. You can apply for an Advanced Learner Loan to help with the costs of your course, and the loan can cover all or part of your tuition fees.
You will need to apply for an Advanced Learner Loan or pay your fees independently:
- If you are aged 19 or above and you already have a full Level 3 qualification.
- If you are aged 19 or above and studying a Level 4 qualification.
You may apply to get assistance from the Loan Bursary Fund after you’ve received a letter approving your Advanced Learner Loan.
The money can help pay for things like:
- accommodation if you need to live away from home for your course
- travel related to your course
- course materials and equipment
- childcare
- classroom assistance for a disability or learning difficulty – Dependent on assessment by Disability Services.
Evidence of entitlement to the loan and you household income will need to be provide.

Please complete the online application form to apply for this bursary.
As soon as your application is assessed you will be sent an award confirmation email to your Bradford College student email address.
