Pharmacy Technicians work in a wide range of settings, including (but not exclusively), registered pharmacies, community services, justice (the Prison Service), GP Practices, dispensing doctors’ practices, care homes and clinical commissioning groups, hospitals, mental health, defence (HM Armed Services) and within the pharmaceutical industry.
There are a variety of roles that you could become by studying a course that include:

Here at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals Pharmacy, we have a great productive working relationship with the School of Pharmacy at Bradford College.
We work collaboratively to support a variety of learners including level 2 pharmacy assistant apprentices and level 3 pre-registration trainee pharmacy technician apprentices. We also support qualified staff through post-registration qualifications including accuracy checking courses and the BTEC level 4 in Clinical Pharmacy Services and Therapeutics.
Bradford College supports us as a workplace to make sure learners academic experience is of the highest standard, this is achieved through organised learner progress meetings and quarterly employer meetings.
