You will need to provide evidence of your all qualifications (by uploading), including your Maths and English exam results. For example, you will need your certificates and proof of qualification e.g. GCSEs or other qualifications during your enrolment. ]

Residency information

UK/EU/EEA Nationals

  • Passport/ID Card/Driving Licence/NI Card
  • Full birth certificate

Non-UK/EU/EEA Nationals

  • Passport/Visa/Residence Permit
  • Asylum Registration Card, ASPEN Card and NASS Receipt
  • Spouse/Family Members passport (if you came into the UK on a spouse/family member visa)

Support for Student Finance

If you would like to apply for support with travel, childcare, free meals or any other financial support, please upload evidence of your household income and any benefits your family receives. You can also contact our Student Finance Team.

Further Education tuition fees

If you are 19 years old or over you may need to pay fees for your Further Education studies.

Course fees depend on your age and course level.

You may be exempt from paying fees though, or eligible to pay a reduced fee – known as fee remission.

Please ensure you have read the information available regarding fees and fee remission.

Your first full Level 1, 2, 3 or 4 (if you have not previously achieved a full Level 3 qualification) may be fully funded – you may not pay tuition or exam fees.

English & Maths courses (up to an including Level 2 / GCSE) are fully funded if you do not already have a GCSE Grade C / 4 or above.

A second Level 1 or 2 may require you to pay tuition and exam fees.

A second Level 3 may require you to pay tuition and exam fees or take out an Advanced Learner Loan

If you are on Job Seekers Allowance, Employment Support Allowance or Universal Credits or you have wage lower than £16,005.50 you may be eligible for fee remission. Individuals will be assessed at enrolment when evidence is produced. 

Your first full Level 1 or 2 may be fully funded if you are unemployed or co-funded if you are in employment.
