  Overview

This Award qualifies you to be carry out internal quality assurance of assessment practice in the fields of dentistry and pharmacy.

You will learn how to assess quality of product and process and a range of other aspects related to the field you work in.

This is a 12 credit and 90 guided learning hour qualification consisting of two mandatory units:

Unit 1 – Understanding the Principles and Practices of Internally Assuring the Quality of Assessment

Unit 2 – Internally Assure the Quality of Assessment

You must be a registered pharmacy or dental professional with a recognised assessor qualification e.g. A1 or D32.

You need to support two assessors (qualified or trainee) who have at least two students to assess.

Successful completion of this course will enable career progression from being a dental or pharmaceutical professional and an assessor, to becoming a quality assurer.

If you are 16 to 18 years old you won’t have to pay tuition fees. If you’re 19 or older you may need to pay a fee.
