Whether you like the idea of getting hands-on experience working on a construction site or would like to work behind the scenes designing the buildings of tomorrow, we have a fantastic range of Construction courses that offer you the choice for your career path.

You will learn in our industry-standard workshops that are kitted out for every trade including bricklaying, carpentry and joinery, electrical installation and plumbing.

You’ll work with cutting-edge technology and tools used in today’s industry, including drones, robotic total stations and the latest architectural design software.

Our construction courses are taught at our Trinity Green building apart from Electrical which is taught at our Bowling Back Lane building.

Our Facilities

Bradford College is equipped with state-of-the-art construction facilities designed to support students in their development and practical training in the construction industry. These facilities provide a hands-on learning environment with access to a variety of tools and machinery used in real-world construction settings. The college’s construction workshops cover key disciplines, including carpentry, bricklaying, plumbing, electrical installation, and painting and decorating.

The facilities are designed to reflect industry standards, ensuring that students gain relevant experience that prepares them for careers in construction. The workshops include dedicated spaces for each discipline, enabling students to work on individual projects, collaborate in teams, and learn from experienced tutors. Additionally, the college offers courses and training that focus on health and safety, building regulations, and sustainable construction practices.
