The Student Ambassador scheme has been successfully running at Bradford College for a number of years. The job involves various roles to suit people with different skills - any student enrolled on either a Further or Higher Education course at Bradford College can apply (subject to specific criteria).
What does it involve?
Represent the College
You will have the opportunity to work with pupils ranging from primary school age through to mature students, as well as with teachers and parents. A typical working day could involve representing the college at open days, UCAS fairs, school events, helping with marketing campaigns and even doing some office admin work.
Every hour a Student Ambassador works is calculated on a time sheet and they receive a wage at the end of each month. No matter your age you will receive a fair wage, we pay all of our Student Ambassadors the same wage which is currently above the national minimum wage at £8.45 per hour.
Choose when you work
Working hours are designed to be flexible so that you can fit work in around your college timetable. Shift opportunities are posted on our private Student Ambassador Facebook page where you can put yourself forward to work, it really is that easy.
Travel the country
If you like to visit new places then this job is ideal for you. You’ll get the chance to represent the college at various events all over the country.
Make new friends
You’ll be in a team of around 50 other Student Ambassadors, it’s the perfect job to make new friends and socialise
Prepare for the future
Through the work and training opportunities it provides, the scheme helps Student Ambassadors to develop skills in preparation for future employment, builds confidence and encourages personal development.
