Bradford College’s Ambition [HUB] welcomes new students
As the new academic year starts, we kicked off with our fantastic Welcome Event for our new Ambition [HUB] students.
Students were given a warm welcome and introduction to the Ambition [HUB] by Furkan Uddin, Head of Professional Services & Leisure.
“This year, we aim to expand Ambition [HUB] and have more courses involved in our masterclasses. Our focus will be on ‘power skills’ like resilience, confidence, communication, collaboration, customer service, innovation, and sustainability—skills highly valued by the employers we work with.
Students will gain work placements, participate in trips and attend masterclasses. They will also earn accredited digital badges, endorsed by employers to boost their CVs.”

This was followed by an engaging presentation from guest speakers Danny Furness and Charlie Jerram at SkillsHouse CTE, on the importance of growing the need for power skills in the Bradford region.
“By collaborating with Ambition [HUB] and Bradford College, we ensure students leave College with both qualifications and a set of essential, transferable skills to prepare them for the world of work. This partnership equips students with the in-demand skills currently missing in the job market, setting them on a path to successful careers.”
