Bradford College’s Ophthalmic Dispensing Head of School Nick Walker attended the ceremony to celebrate the students’ achievements, describing the event as “an inspiring showcase of excellence within the profession.”
Nick Walker said,
“As Head of School, it was a proud moment to represent Bradford College at the ABDO’s graduation ceremony held in the magnificent setting of Canterbury Cathedral. Celebrating the achievements of our graduates in such a historic venue was truly inspiring. On behalf of all those involved in delivering Ophthalmic Dispensing, I extend our heartfelt congratulations and wish every graduate continued success in their careers as Dispensing Opticians.”
The College offers a range of specialist Level 6 qualifications designed to equip students with the skills needed to succeed in the optical industry. These include the Diploma available through both apprenticeship and blended learning routes, the BSc (Hons) degree, and a Contact Lens Diploma delivered via blended learning. With industry-relevant training, expert teaching, and strong employer links, Bradford College continues to play a key role in developing the next generation of optical professionals.
