Access to Higher Education

One year courses to support your route to University

Access to Higher Education

We know a lot of people come to university to study later in life, that’s one of our specialisms. If you need a bridge between your current qualifications and a university level degree, our Access to Higher Education courses provide exactly that.

These eight one-year courses are ideal for building your skills, knowledge and confidence. They are recognised by universities across the UK and allow entry on to higher education courses in your chosen specialist area.

We offer flexible study options that fit around work and family commitments and help you spread the cost of investing in your future.

There is no upper age limit to study an Access to Higher Education course, as long as you have your GCSEs in Maths and English.

With small class sizes, and all the individual support you need to get back into education, you’ll build the skills, knowledge and confidence you need to succeed and reach your goal. We will also introduce you to the UCAS system and provide tutorial sessions for university applications.

Advanced Learner Loan

The Government’s Advanced Learner Loan could help you study now and pay later! You can apply for a loan to help with the costs of a Access to Higher Education course. Loan eligibility doesn’t depend on your income and there are no credit checks. Find further information on the Advanced Learner Loan here.
