Electrical Students Tour City Centre Transformation Work
6 daysA group of our new Level 2 Electrical Installation students had a special guided tour of the transformation work which is taking place in Bradford city centre as part of their studies.
Kay Rigby will be keeping a children’s charity close to her heart and her head when she takes part in a sponsored head shave.
Kay, Attendance Monitor & Administration Assistant for Early Years, Social Care & Progression at Bradford College, will have her head shaved to a grade 3 on Wednesday 16 February.
Her hair will be in the capable hands of Hair and Beauty Lecturer Hayley Brogden. The event will take place in the hair and beauty salon in the David Hockney Building.
Kay is raising money for Cash for Kids. This is a grant-giving charity helping the children who need it most across the UK.
Its mission is to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people. It supports those affected by poverty, illness, neglect or have additional needs. The charity believes that all children should be able to express their individuality, achieve their potential and live life to the full.
