Contact Lens Certificate student’s success published in National article

Dispensing Optics online has highlighted the success of Bradford College students in their recent online critical entitled ‘Success for Bradford contact lens students’

Dispensing Optics Online is published by The Association of British Dispensing Opticians (ABDO), the professional body for dispensing opticians – working for dispensing opticians and advancing the profession in the UK and worldwide.

The publication details the success of Bradford College’s Contact Lens Certificate students having achieved in their recent practical exams despite various challenges. Students and lecturers adapted their teaching and learning through the COVID 19 pandemic to comply with government guidelines, still making sure teaching standard and learning was in the highest regard whilst staying safe!

Robin Rohu, lecturer at Bradford College, explained: “The last two years has been challenging for students across the country. We are extremely proud of our students results.”

One of the students at Bradford College who gained outstanding results was Adam Robson is now a newly qualified contact lens optician working at Specsavers Wakefield. After completing the programme in 18 months at Bradford College, Adam passed all examinations at the first attempt and commented “The teaching team at Bradford college are incredible. They support you throughout the programme and really prepare you for your exams. ”
