Bradford College hosts City & Guilds Networking Event
Bradford College proudly hosted a City & Guilds Building Services Engineering (Plumbing and Electrical) Networking Event this week for a morning of collaboration, bringing together training providers and colleges from across the country for a day of collaboration, insight, and industry updates.
The event focused on sharing the latest changes and updates to industry qualifications, ensuring that providers remain aligned with the evolving needs of the Building Services Engineering sector. Representatives from Leeds College of Building, Shrewsbury College, Calderdale College, St Helens College, Tameside College, and many more joined the conversation creating a powerful hub of shared expertise and innovation.
Guests were given the opportunity to exchange best practices, discuss common challenges, and explore how training can better reflect real-world industry demands. It was a chance not only to stay ahead of qualification updates, but also to forge stronger partnerships that support the next generation of plumbers and electricians.
Adam Brough, Team Leader in Electrical Installation at Bradford College, commented:
“It was fantastic to see such strong engagement from educational providers across the region. Events like this are vital for sharing updates on qualification reforms and industry developments in plumbing and electrical installation. They help ensure we’re all aligned in preparing learners for the future of the sector”
With industry qualifications continuing to evolve to meet modern standards and expectations, the event served as a valuable checkpoint for ensuring consistency, quality, and innovation in how colleges prepare students for careers as a plumber or an electrician.
Bradford College remains committed to being at the forefront of technical education and is proud to facilitate vital conversations that shape the skills agenda both locally and nationally.
