T-Level in Health – Supporting the Adult Nursing Team
Overview
Delivered in our new state-of-the-art nursing suite, this T Level specifically focuses on supporting adult nursing. It will provide you with the knowledge and skills needed for a range of health occupations, enabling you to progress into skilled employment or higher-level technical training. As well as the learning-based element of the course, a work experience project can give you a careers edge and fast track you into your Healthcare area of interest. Topics range from across both health and science. These aim to build up the knowledge of students on the course and may include:
- Understanding the healthcare sector
- Supporting health and wellbeing
- Understanding health, safety and environmental regulations
- Managing information and data
- Understanding the principles of good scientific and clinical practice

Entry Requirements
Entry to this course requires 5 GCSEs graded at 5 or above including Maths, English and Science.
Assessment
Assessment includes exams, coursework and a work based portfolio.
Work Experience
You will have the opportunity to complete 350 hours of relevant and enriching work experience related to the area that you want to work in. This can give you a careers edge and fast track you into the Healthcare sector.
Progression
Successful completion of this course can lead to progression into higher level study or employment in the Health sector. Careers include Adult Nursing, Midwifery and Physiotherapy.

If you are 19 years old or over you may need to pay fees for your Further Education studies.
Course fees depend on your age and course level.
You may be exempt from paying fees though, or eligible to pay a reduced fee – known as fee remission.
