You will immerse yourself in the creative process exploring a variety of art and design disciplines before specialising in your chosen area. There are opportunities to work on projects that challenge you to research, experiment, and develop innovative ideas- whether that’s creating a mixed-media installation, designing a brand identity, or producing a 3D piece. Learning is project-based, giving you the freedom to explore and develop your creativity. Feedback and collaboration are built into the process, helping you grow as a creative practitioner. Each year concludes with a Final Major Project, which determines your overall grade.
At Level 3, students strengthen their professional practice by working on live briefs with real clients, gaining first-hand insight into industry standards and expectations. Learners are supported to build their own industry connections, developing independence and confidence for future careers or higher-level study.
You’ll also benefit from workshops led by industry experts, alongside opportunities to take part in competitions and exhibitions, helping you showcase your creativity and strengthen your portfolio.
Progress to university-level study in art and design or move into careers such as illustrator, designer, or curator. Your portfolio will showcase your creative potential.
