If you’re passionate about pistons, fascinated by mufflers, and thrilled by the sound of a dump-valve gear change, then this is the perfect course for you!
Take your first step towards becoming a professional mechanic with our official City and Guilds Motor Vehicle courses. Whether you want to start your own business, work for a local garage, or even aim for a career in F1, we provide the hands-on training, work experience, and practical skills you need to drive your career forward.
In your first year, we’ll show you how to perform all the essential task that would be expected of a professional mechanic, how to replace tyres, trims and exhausts and how to do routine tasks like oil changes, lamp replacements and puncture repairs.
Once you have the basics down, we move onto diagnostics, how to tune and mod cars for efficiency and look towards the future with the option to specialise in hybrid and electric vehicles.
