Overview

Take your first steps towards a job in Construction with our Entry Level 3 qualification. This qualification will provide you with a unique insight into the various construction trades. You will develop transferable, industry related skills including Carpentry, Joinery, Bricklaying, Electrics, and Plumbing. If you have an eye for detail and good work ethic, you can be earning fantastic money anywhere in the world by developing skills in the construction trades. 

The course is designed around practical skills and tasks that place an emphasis on learners demonstrating what they can do rather than what they know in theory. The Award offers an introduction to the construction industry and will be studied alongside other subjects within a study programme.

The course is based on a Programme of Study, which consists of a City & Guilds Employability Award maths and English, a tutorial programme, enrichment and experience of work. Learners will study core Employability units and develop workshop skills over the duration of the course.

You will be assessed based on coursework.

Level 1 in Bricklaying, electrical, plumbing, joinery or other Level 1 course 

FE Tuition: £2,172.00 per academic year
