Bradford College Celebrates National Thank a Teacher Day with Pearson Award Wins
Bradford College proudly celebrated National Thank a Teacher Day today with a double cause for celebration. The College has received two prestigious awards from the Pearson National Teaching Awards, recognising outstanding contributions in further education.
The Ambition Hub Team was awarded a Certificate of Excellence for FE Team of the Year, while the Department of Early Years & Health and Social Care received a Highly Commended award in the same category – both accolades recognising the College’s unwavering commitment to teaching excellence and student success.
As part of the celebration, staff across the College were honoured and thanked for their dedication on National Teachers’ and Support Staff Day. A surprise afternoon tea added a special touch, bringing colleagues together to reflect on their shared achievements.
Sarah Cooper, Director of People Services, presented the awards to the winning teams and highlighted the significance of the recognition: “As a college, providing higher levels of teaching and learning is critical for our students’ success. So for the teams today to be recognised for their teaching excellence in the Pearson awards is fantastic it’s great for them and for the wider college.”
The celebrations today not only honoured those who make Bradford College a thriving place of learning, but also shone a light on the positive impact the College continues to have on students, staff, and the wider community.
