This University of Arts London Level 3 Fashion Design qualification provides an exciting contemporary course for students interested in studying fashion. The course is delivered through inspirational projects covering a very wide range of themes specialising in all visual and technical aspects of fashion.

The Diploma qualification will provide you with the skills, knowledge and understanding necessary to progress to degree level study and employment. It provides an opportunity for those who have an interest in fashion to explore, develop and test their creativity within a qualification structure which is stimulating and demanding and provides a supportive transition from general to more specialised study.

This course provides a challenging opportunity for those interested in fashion and clothing design to test and develop their skills and understanding in a stimulating and demanding environment.

You will have the opportunity to explore fashion and clothing-based disciplines and experiences which may include design, pattern cutting, garment construction and fashion promotion. You will focus upon a broad range of skills and techniques within this fashion and clothing pathway.

At the end of each year you will have the opportunity to exhibit your garments and designs at our professional fashion show.

4 GCSEs including English Grade 4 Maths Grade 3

The Level 3 Diploma is a practical, project-based, live-brief course supported by both practical and theoretical assessment. The final major project of the course is externally moderated by University of Arts London.

Work experience and enrichment opportunities are embedded into the timetable to ensure that the course is both diverse and CV enhancing to prepare learners with industry-based experience work in the creative industries. Links include:

If you are 19 years old or over you may need to pay fees for your Further Education studies.

Course fees depend on your age and course level.

You may be exempt from paying fees though, or eligible to pay a reduced fee – known as fee remission.

If you are aged 16, 17 or 18 and studying on a full-time or part-time Further Education course, you will not pay tuition or examination fees.

This covers all Further Education courses, functional skills for English and Maths courses.

You will need to pay for course costs such as books, stationery, special equipment, exams, registration fee, travel, meals and any other course-related activities.

Help towards these costs is available for many students.

Exam Registration: £350.00
