Begin your journey into the world of media with our UAL Level 2 Diploma in Creative Media Production & Technology.  

This course is perfect for anyone interested in film, TV, radio, or digital content creation. You’ll learn the essential creative and technical skills needed to produce professional media projects while building confidence and a strong foundation for further study.  

As part of Bradford College’s Producing Academy, you’ll work in industry-standard studios, collaborate on exciting projects, and start building your portfolio.

Explore the fundamentals of media production through hands-on projects. Learn camera and lighting techniques for film and TV, experiment with sound recording and editing, and develop skills in post-production using professional software. Alongside practical work, you’ll research audiences and industry trends to inform your creative decisions. Expect to create a range of media products- from short films and documentaries to podcasts and online content- while building an online portfolio that showcases your progress.

4 GCSEs including Maths Grade 2 and English Grade 3

Assessment is project-based, giving you the chance to develop practical media skills and creative ideas. You’ll receive ongoing feedback to support your progress. The course concludes with a Final Major Project, which determines your overall grade.

Students gain hands-on experience through live briefs, working on real-world projects that mirror professional practice. We also run competitions and exhibitions, helping learners build confidence, showcase creativity, and develop industry-ready skills. 

Progress to the Level 3 Diploma in Creative Media or explore other creative pathways. This course is your first step towards careers in film, TV, radio, or digital content creation.
