Tom is originally from Skipton in the Yorkshire Dales. He attended the Arden School of Theatre in Manchester graduating with a First Class Honours Degree in Acting Studies. He has subsequently gained a PGCE in English and Drama and is currently working toward his PhD at The University of Chester.
Tom has worked broadly in the Performing Arts, on television appearing in Coronation Street (ITV), Emmerdale (ITV), Hollyoaks (Channel 4), Mount Pleasant (Sky), Homefront (ITV), Moving On (BBC), The Royal (ITV), Atlantis (BBC), The Amazing Mrs Pritchard (BBC), and Eric and Ernie (BBC) and Cucumber (Channel 4). In addition to this Tom has worked extensively in Theatre including The Royal Exchange; Manchester, The Lowry; Salford, The Bolton Octagon, Harrogate Theatre, Wakefield Theatre Royal and The Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival.
Academically Tom has previously lectured in Performing Arts and acting at The University of Manchester, The University of Salford, The Arden School of Theatre, Newcastle College, Mid Cheshire College and The Manchester College.
