Shezad Aslam is the Managing Director for Aagrah Foods, an ethnic food manufacturer and wholesaler in Shipley, West Yorkshire.
Raised in Bradford, Shezad completed a Chemical Engineering degree at the University of Leeds and followed up with a postgraduate engineering degree from the University of Birmingham.
Shezad spent 10 years in the food industry with Mars and McVities managing project teams and delivering multi-million-pound capital investment projects. He then moved to the world of entrepreneurship and became the MD at Aagrah Foods.
He is a Chartered Chemical Engineer with the Institute of Chemical Engineers (IChemE), an active mentor for young people and a cricket enthusiast. He believes that with the right guidance and mentoring, young people can achieve anything they set their sights on.
