Previous Experience

I have been involved in the military since I was 13 as an Army cadet.  I joined the Army as an Infantry soldier at 16 and have overseas including operational tours. I have worked with several military units including attachments to the Royal Airforce & Royal Navy and attached to the maiden voyage of HMS Ocean, the commando assault ship.  I left with the rank of corporal.

I have spent many years in the field of education and enjoy passing on the knowledge and skills that I have gained over the years to the next generation.

Previous Experience

Hi, I am Mohammed Hamza, I was on the Uniformed Public Service course L2 and L3 during years 2013-2016. The course helped me to get onto the undergraduate degree of Physical Education at Leeds. I am passionate about PE because I completed my teaching training in PE, also at Leeds. Later, I developed an interest to conduct research around public health and wellbeing. I did a master’s by research, and a PhD on this; which I completed in 2026. My specialisms lie around understanding social justice, public health, social sciences and how they relate to the public services. Alongside my academic career, I have taught in various education settings including early years, primary, secondary, further education, and higher education for a total of 6 years.

Previous Experience

I have worked at Bradford College for the past four years, where I have taught across both Sport and Public Services. Before joining the College, I spent 10 years working for Leeds United Football Club, coaching within the academy and delivering a variety of community-based projects. I have also managed at a semi-professional level in the Northern Counties East Football League (NCEL) with Ilkley Town AFC. I have also proudly served in the British Army, within the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment based in Knightsbridge, London. During my military service, I had the honour of escorting Her Majesty The Queen on public parades and taking part in some of the country’s most prestigious ceremonial events, including Trooping the Colour, the State Opening of Parliament, and the Remembrance Service at the Cenotaph. I hold a BSc Degree in Sports Coaching and a Master’s Degree in Teaching and Education. My experiences in professional sport, the military, and education have helped shape my approach to teaching, bringing real-world insight, discipline, leadership, and teamwork into the classroom. I am committed to supporting students in reaching their full potential and preparing them for successful futures in Sport or the Uniformed Public Services.

My name is Sana. I am a dedicated professional with a strong background in childcare and education. I studied at Bradford College and gained my qualifications for childcare. I have transitioned from working in nurseries, schools and now I serve as a Tutorial and Intervention Officer at Bradford College. In this role, I provide crucial support and guidance to students, leveraging my expertise to foster academic success and personal growth. I am committed to make a positive impact in the lives of students through targeted interventions and personalized assistance.

Previous Experience

I have worked at Bradford College for 8 years, I spent 7 years as a Learning Assistant before moving to teach Uniformed Services. I have supported students with a variety of support needs. I was a finalist in the Skills House Post-16 Educator of the Year 2024. As well as being awarded the Best Example of EDI to Transform Lives at Bradford College 2024. I studied at Bradford College and have completed a L3 in Sport (Outdoor Pathway) as well as a Degree in Sport and Physical Activity. I am here to support you and help you to achieve your goal.
