T&A Education Awards winners announced

Congratulations to Bradford College students Mohammed Owes Khan, Ansharah Shahzad and James Taylor-Howorth who all won the ‘Star Student of the Year’ category at the prestigious Telegraph & Argus Bradford and District Education Awards 2022 last night.

The award category is in recognition of students at sixth form, college or in further training who go the extra mile at their place of learning to support fellow students, improve school life for their peers, and take a leading role in extra-curricular activities.

Mohammed Owes Khan, Ansharah Shahzad and James Taylor-Howorth were shortlisted for the final of the awards held at The Bradford Hotel, Hall Ings.The Education Awards celebrate all the great work that goes on in classrooms, behind the scenes and in the wider community. After being held virtually for the last two years, this glittering ninth consecutive awards ceremony was celebrated alongside a sumptuous three-course gala dinner.
