New Media and Music Facilities Open at Bradford College
Bradford College is proud to unveil brand-new facilities for the use of Media students, as well as a new home for the College’s Music department.
This investment is designed to give students access to industry-standard resources and hands-on experience, ensuring they are prepared for careers in the Media and Music industries.
The new media facilities are fully-equipped with TV studios, professional-grade editing suites, and high-spec sound equipment, enabling students to develop technical skills in a real-world environment. Tools like these will provide the hands-on experience needed to excel in film, television, and digital content production.
Creative Media course lead, Em Brogden, commented: “We don’t just teach theory, students gain real-world experience from day one. They work on employer-led projects, building their skills in video production, social media content, podcasting, branding, and broadcasting. These new facilities will give them everything they need to step into the industry with confidence.”
In addition to new media facilities, we are also delighted by the opening of a brand-new home for music students. This space features the latest recording, sound editing, and musical equipment, giving Bradford College students access to professional tools to develop and finetune their skills.
Lewis Blofeld (Music, Performance & Production Lead) said: “We are delighted by the investment in these purpose-built spaces, which have high-quality sound insulation, professional lighting, and brand-new equipment, forming an authentic working environment. In these facilities, students will be able to develop the skills needed to seamlessly transition into a career, providing a genuine advantage in the industry.”
