Freshers’ Fair 2025 Brings Energy and Excitement to Trinity Green
Bradford College’s annual Freshers’ Fair lit up Trinity Green yesterday, welcoming new and returning students with a vibrant celebration of college life.
From food and freebies to face painting and funky haircuts, the 2025 Freshers’ Fair was bigger and bolder than ever. Held at the Trinity Green campus, the event offered students a chance to explore everything Bradford College has to offer, all while having a blast.
Students were treated to a jam packed day of activities, including live music, gaming, competitions, henna art, balloon modelling, and even a 360 photo booth for those Instagram worthy moments. One of the highlights was the appearance of the mysterious Mirrored Man, who added a touch of surreal sparkle to the day.
The event also featured information stalls from clubs, societies, and support services, giving students the opportunity to discover new interests and connect with their college community. Whether you were looking to join a sports team, explore a hobby, or simply find your way around, there was something for everyone.
Free haircuts and creative hairstyles proved popular, while others opted for face painting or henna to mark the start of a new academic year in style.
Whether you came for the giveaways, the good vibes, or to meet new friends, Freshers’ Fair 2025 was a celebration of new beginnings and a brilliant start to what promises to be an exciting year ahead.
Umar Rafique, Personal Development Team Leader said “This year’s Freshers’ Fair was a fantastic success, bringing together hundreds of new and returning students for a day full of entertainment, activities, and opportunities. From exciting enrichment sign-ups and student competitions to delicious food stalls and giveaways, there was something for everyone. We were delighted to welcome so many external organisations, voluntary groups, and community partners, including JTI Community Fridge, Locala, Simon on the Streets, and local businesses such as Shimlas, NYK, and Phat Spuds, whose support and contributions made the event even more special. The Students’ Union wants to send out a huge thank you to all our college service departments and volunteers who worked hard behind the scenes to help deliver such a vibrant and memorable event. “
