Enterprising Students Celebrate Red Nose Day 2022

On Thursday 17th and Friday 18th March, Progression to Learning & Work (PWL) students at Bradford College became enterprising stallholders and decorated notice boards to help raise funds for Comic Relief 2022.

A variety of stands were set up on the ground floor of the College’s David Hockney Building. Fellow students and staff played Hook-A-Duck, entered the ‘guess the number of sweets in a jar’ competition, bought samosas and treats and had henna tattoos beautifully designed.

A final total of £178 was raised by donations from both students and staff which will go towards the red nose day causes. These help people live free from poverty, violence, and discrimination and includes funding organisations supporting people right now in Ukraine and those attempting to cross the border. Comic Relief partners with amazing projects and organisations to make a difference in the lives of millions of people across the UK and around the world.
