Supporters of Bradford City AFC can now download its new mobile app … developed in partnership with Bradford College!
The Bradford City AFC App has been created in partnership with Bradford College and the Bantams. Apprenticeships at Bradford College has been Bradford City AFC’s official digital partner since July 2020.
Head of Apprenticeships and Business Development Kelly McAllister said: “Bradford College and Bradford City have been working together to understand how the local community wants to hear from us. Using market research, we found the most popular option to receive updates from the club and college was via their smart phone.”
“The app was a great way for us to work together in developing something that allowed us to not only send out our messages to the community, but also get live updates and feedback from users via poll functions asking about everything from football to apprenticeships.”
“We’re both committed to improving Bradford’s economic growth via education, training and employment. We’re excited to work together to continually achieve this.”
Senior Business Development Officer Nicky Betteridge said: “Bradford City AFC have been working with Apprenticeships at Bradford College to design, host and deliver events aimed at local employers, school students, school leavers and the adult community. The newly refurbished suites at Valley Parade are a perfect setting for such events. We have some exciting plans for National Apprenticeship Week 2022. We would now ask people to follow our social platforms for updates.”
Every supporter who downloads the app by 11.59pm on Christmas Eve will be entered into a draw. They will then have the chance to win a 2022/23 season ticket.
Featuring news, updates, competitions, features and more, the app is free to download. It can even act as a ‘Take Me Home’ 2021/22 season ticket. It also includes a unique QR code scannable on turnstiles at the Utilita Energy Stadium.
The app also has links to the club’s official eBay store, The City Shop’s online retail outlet, the City Talk e-newsletter opt-in page, and The Bantams Lottery sign-up form.
