You will be eligible to attend your Bradford College graduation if:
- you completed your higher education studies during 2020/21
- your name appeared on a pass list
- you have no outstanding debts to the College.
If you are eligible to graduate you will receive an email to the address you are registered with on the student portal.

If you owe the College money
You need to pay any outstanding student fees to the College so you can graduate.
It is Bradford College’s policy to withhold degree certificates until the debt is settled in full.
If you are unsure about your payment status, please call the HE Student Finance team on 01274 088503 with your student number to check your account.
In the event that any or all of the graduation ceremonies have to be cancelled, rescheduled or postponed due to circumstances beyond the control of Bradford College, we cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred.
Bradford College graduation ceremonies are considered to be public events.
There will be a College photographer present and by attending, you give us permission to use any general crowd photos you appear in for marketing purposes.
The College does not accept responsibility and expressly excludes liability to the fullest extent permitted by law for:
- any loss or damage to any personal property left unattended during an event organised by the College unless caused by the negligence of the College or its employees; or
- death or any personal injury suffered by you at a College event unless caused by the negligence of the College or its employees.
The General Data Protection Regulations mean we will only discuss a student’s personal details with the student themselves.
None of that personal information will be shared with a third party, and that includes family members.
Graduation programme and marketing materials
All graduates will have your names and course details published in the graduation programme, even if you are not attending your ceremony.
Except for first-class or distinction holders, your degree classification will not be published.
Your name, student number, award and ceremony date and time will be shared with our robing and photography partner, William Northam.
This is to make sure you hire the right gown and hood for your award and that they are ready for the correct ceremony.
Your name may also be included in other materials produced by the College.
If you do not want your name or course details published in the graduation programme or used in College materials please email the Graduation Team the following:
- the word PRIVACY in the subject line
- your student number
- your full name
