Women in STEM Panel and Documentary Screening
As part of our Open Day, we are pleased to be holding a special panel discussion and documentary screening focusing on topics relating to Women and Girls in STEM.
Lister Building, Dye House Gallery | Saturday 9th March | 11am-12pm
At Bradford College we have been working hard to create a short film documentary focusing on Women in STEM. This includes case studies and videos of our very own students who are studying in STEM courses, our own lecturers, who are from Yorkshire and pursuing STEM careers, and also some profiles of other STEM women in the district/county.
The panel discussion is your chance to listen to first-hand experiences of women currently working in STEM, understand why we need more women and girls in STEM subjects and what your next steps could be in order to pursue a route into STEM. There is dedicated time towards the end of the panel for any audience questions.
This event will be on our main college open day so if you are inspired to follow a career in STEM, all of our course tutors will be available to talk to on the day.
