Project Search Supported Internship Reverse Job Fair
5th May 2023, 12:00pm - 3:00pm
Great Horton Road
Our Reverse Jobs Fair flips the standard fair, placing the interns into the position of hosting their own information tables and allows employers to work the room to meet the young people and discover their experiences within the workplace.
Our aim is to connect employers who have current vacancies to a new pool of talent, provide advice on accessible recruitment around employing people with learning disabilities and to give these young people experience speaking to employers about their career options and goals.
All our interns have a learning disability or autism, but this does not prevent them being excellent employees. Our interns complete 3 work rotations whilst on Project Search in the BRI, Lynfield Mount, St Lukes hospital, Bradford College and University. They have experience of a wide variety of roles including admin, portering, cleaning, security, catering, warehouse and retail, whilst gaining a range of skills and qualities valuable to employers. The reverse jobs fair will be an excellent opportunity for them to showcase to their talent to you with the aim of seeking job opportunities in your business.
Our event is planned for 5th May 2023 from 12pm-3pm. It would be great if you wanted to come along and be a part of it. Please register and book your place using Eventbrite.
Once registered, we would like to get in touch with you before the event, to find out about what types of jobs you can offer and discuss potential questions you would like to ask to our interns at the jobs fair.
Thank you for your interest and we look forward to seeing you soon.
