ESOL performance of ‘Because’ for Refugee Week

  20th June 2023, 6:30pm - 7:30pm

Join our ESOL students and tutors on Thursday 20th June from 6:30pm-7:30pm in the Bronte Lecture Theatre (David Hockney Building) for a special theatrical performance for Refugee Week.

ESOL students are performing a script written by David Edgar that he has released without copyright restrictions for Refugee Week. The performance entitled ‘Because’ is the poignant story of an ESOL teacher learning about the past of one of her students.

David Edgar and his wife are among the guests who will be attending the performance from 6:30pm-7:30pm on Thursday 20th June in the Bronte Lecture Theatre located in the David Hockney Building. The ESOL students will also perform Twelfth Night at the same event.

Please support our students and attend this theatrical performance for refugee week.

If you are unable to attend in person the event will also be live-streamed onto the Bradford College YouTube Channel (the link can be found below).

For any queries, or to book your place for the performance, please contact [email protected]
