Overview
DFN Project SEARCH offers supported internship programmes to young people living with a learning disability and/or autism, aged between 18 and 24.
The programme follows the school year and runs from September to July, offering meaningful work experience.
AlongsideBradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust,Hft a learning disabilities charity,DFN Project SEARCHandBradford Council, we will be offering internships that are designed to prepare young adults with learning disabilities the skills and abilities needed to enter full-time paid work.
We provide teaching, as well as workplace opportunities and work place mentors. The learner will be provided with a tutor who will deliver work skills training as well as a employability qualification.

Work Experience
The programme includes meaningful work experience gained with our partner organisations such as Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust and Bradford Council.
Fees & Additional Costs
If you are 19 years old or over you may need to pay fees for your Further Education studies.
Course fees depend on your age and course level.
You may be exempt from paying fees though, or eligible to pay a reduced fee – known as fee remission.
