  Overview

DFN Project SEARCH offers supported internship programmes to young people living with a learning disability and/or autism, aged between 18 and 24.

The programme follows the school year and runs from September to July, offering meaningful work experience.

Alongside Bradford District Care NHS Foundation TrustHft a learning disabilities charityDFN Project SEARCH and Bradford Council, we will be offering internships that are designed to prepare young adults with learning disabilities the skills and abilities needed to enter full-time paid work.

We provide  teaching, as well as workplace opportunities and work place mentors. The learner will be provided with a tutor who will deliver work skills training as well as a employability qualification.

Interns will develop a CV, learn how to search for a job and prepare for interviews

The programme includes meaningful work experience gained with our partner organisations such as Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust and Bradford Council.
