This Level 1 adult Electrical Installation course will teach you all the skills you need to work in the domestic electrical installation industry.

  • Environmental and Sustainability Measures in Domestic Dwellings
  • Site Preparation for Working in the Construction Industry
  • Electrical Installation Wiring and Terminations
  • Fabrication Techniques for Electrical Installation
  • Electrical Science and Technology

Entry to this course requires a minimum of Entry Level 3 in Mathematics or achieve this on an assessment at your interview.

The course is assessed by continuous practical assessments and knowledge-based assessments for each unit.

Your course may include work experience or a work placement that could lead to the offer of a part-time or casual work, or you might work outside of your studies.

Successful completion of your course can lead to further study, apprenticeships or you may progress into employment. A domestic Electrician has the potential to earn up to 40K per year.

If you are 19 years old or over you may need to pay fees for your Further Education studies.

Course fees depend on your age and course level.

You may be exempt from paying fees though, or eligible to pay a reduced fee – known as fee remission.

FE Tuition: £2,496.00 per academic year

Exam Registration: £165.00
