  Overview

Our City & Guilds level 1 course gives you an introduction to health and safety, the construction trades and the skills required to secure a job in the plumbing industry. Much like electrical, you can choose to work for yourself, fitting central heating systems and pipework, repairing boilers and installing new bathrooms in homes. You will also take advantage of learning about green skills and sustainability with a big focus on energy efficiency and the environment, there’s never been a better time to train as a modern plumber.

  Key Info

We will show you how to install different types of pipework and connect to them to a range of different equipment and appliances. You will also learn about the modern alternatives – such as solar thermal and ground/air source heat pumps so that your skills are cutting edge and future proofed. The industry is changing so quickly, new technology is emerging, so we work with employers across Bradford to make sure what we are teaching you is fully up to date and has real value to companies when you go to work for them.
