  Key Info

The course will develop three key skills:

  1. Number (including fractions, decimals and percentages)
  2. Measures and metrics
  3. Handling Data (including charts and graphs).

Each class lasts for three hours to give you plenty to time to learn, understand and practice your Maths skills.

You will be given an initial assessment to check your starting point and determine your suitability for this course. Your attendance for 3 hours (Entry level 1-3)  and 2 hours (level 1) each week is mandatory and you must complete additional work outside of class time.

Assessment of your progress is throughout the course. You will be assessed according to the level of the qualification. This can vary from an internally marked assessment to externally marked exams.

Successful completion of this course can lead to progression to a higher level Maths qualification, or any other course that will help get the job you want, or support your personal development.
