Employ an apprentice
It has never been easier to employ an apprentice; our Business Development department is made up of dedicated staff members who provide employers with an end to end recruitment service.
What do I need to know?
Apprenticeships are funded at either 95 or 100% by the government. This is dependant on your company size and the age of your apprentice when they enrol. Employers with an annual wage bill of over £3 million. If this is the case, you will automatically pay into an apprenticeship levy and have access to these funds via your online Digital Account Service. If this does not apply to your business, you will log on to the Digital Account Service and reserve the funding required for your apprentice.
How much do I need to pay my apprentice?
Currently, the Apprenticeship Wage is £4.30 per hour. The minimum apprenticeship wage applies to those aged 16-18, and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. All other apprentices should be paid the National Minimum Wage for their age, or more.

How many hours can my apprentice work?

Part-time apprenticeships can be arranged in special circumstances at a minimum of 16 hours per week. For example where apprentices have caring responsibilities.
Can I only employ an apprentice at certain points within the year?
We are proud to boast a roll on roll off curriculum which means all apprenticeships can begin at any point within the year.
Can I employ more than one apprentice?
There is no upper limit on the number of apprentices a company can employ, we would only advise that you are able to provide all with a quality experience.
Can my existing staff members gain a qualification through an apprenticeship?
