Degree Students and Artists Showcase Exceptional Work in Progress!

A group of Bradford School of Art students are celebrating a new exhibition which showcases a diverse range of their MA degree work.

The MA2/AA2A exhibit is a new show exploring the boundaries of contemporary visual arts practice. The exhibition is split between degree work made in response to individual MA projects and pieces produced during on-off lockdowns by Kate Whitehead and Lorna Jewitt (on the artists in residency programme).

Carole Griffiths, Lecturer in BA and MA Visual Arts at Bradford School of Art, said:

“The MA in Visual Arts course offers the opportunity for students to explore a range of media, for example 2D/3D media, printmaking, photographic arts, ceramics, sculpture, drawing, painting, and digital arts. This work […] demonstrates the diverse nature of what is possible through experimental practice. The show is a taste of what will then contribute to further developments for their final integrated projects.”

Please show your support by visiting the Dye House Gallery to view the amazing work which has been produced by our incredible MA students and Artists in residences! The show will be open to the public until 19th May at the Dye House Gallery in the Bradford College Lister Building.

Congratulations to both our students on both the Artist in residency and MA visual art programs!
