  Overview

Apprenticeships give you the opportunity to learn and train in your chosen career as well as earning a regular pay packet. You will be given first-hand experience and learn the majority of the skills needed on the job, whilst also completing off-the-job training within college by day release.

This apprenticeship is for people who wish to become a bricklayer and work in the construction industry. Bricklayers build and repair structures, walls, chimneys, walkways and foundations using various types of blocks and brick. Work can range from a house extension to a major stadium project.

Level 2: GCSE Mathematics and English at Grade A*-C/9-4 or Entry 3 on the Literacy and Numeracy BKSB screening.

Successful completion of this apprenticeship can lead to further study or employment in the Construction sector related to Brickwork.
