Undergraduate law students visit UK Supreme Court
In March 2017, students from the College's Law LLB course journeyed to the The Supreme Court, London, the highest court of authority in the United Kingdom. The course was attended by students at all years of study and by academic members of staff Shazia Khan and Muazzama Ahmed.
A guided tour of the courts provided both a historical perspective by focusing on high profile cases as well as an insight into current judiciary affairs. The visit compliments a course module on the English legal system and the hierarchical structure of UK Courts. By visiting a legal environment, our students have a chance to experience a practical application of their degree.
