LLB (Hons) Law M100

Do you want to specialise during your degree or sample a variety of legal topics?

Both are possible on our pure law LLB (hons) degree. For example; a criminal law focus may include Crime, Criminology, Evidence and a Criminal law or Criminology Dissertation. A property theme may include Contract Law, Land law, Landlord and Tenant Law, Conveyancing and a property Dissertation. A business theme may include Contract, Tort, Commercial Law, Employment Law, Company law and a business law Dissertation. However, you do not have to choose a specialist theme at the outset. You are free to use this degree to sample different areas of law and through that process decide where you feel that your future will lie. Other subject options may include Family law, Jurisprudence (legal philosophy) and Immigration law.

LLB (Hons) Law (Accountancy) NM41 Law books

Our LLB (Hons) Law (Accountancy) degree gives you
 the opportunity to study two related disciplines - Law (the major discipline) and Accountancy (the minor discipline) - to create a degree that will equip you well in a legal, business, financial, and banking sectors. Select from our full range of law optional modules including Commercial Law, Employment Law, Company law , and accountancy modules such as business taxation, computerised accounting, personal taxation and investment, corporate taxation and financial management.

LLB (Hons) Law (Marketing) NM15 

Our LLB (Hons) Law (Marketing) degree gives you the opportunity to study Law (as the major discipline) and Marketing (as the minor discipline) - to create a degree that will equip you well in a legal or commercial sector. Select from the full range of law optional modules including Commercial Law, Employment Law, Company law and Marketing modules such as events management, marketing essentials, and marketing management.

LLB (Hons) Law (Social Welfare) ML14

The LLB (Hons) Law (Social Welfare) degree gives you the opportunity to study Law (the major discipline) and Social welfare (the minor discipline) - to create a degree that will equip you for the legal-welfare sector. Select from our full range of law optional modules including immigration law, family law, criminology, jurisprudence and social welfare modules such as mental health and disability, inter-professional working, and law and the application of social work practice.

FdA Law and Legal Practice MM12

Our Foundation degree delivers academic content with a vocational/practical twist. You will
 study a variety of modules including Contract Law, Public Law, English Legal Process, Family Law and Practice, Aspects of property law, Conveyancing, and Litigation (civil and criminal), to ensure that you experience a variety of legal areas and legal procedures. As a Foundation degree student, you will undertake Work Placement modules in a legal or advice setting. Lawyers practice in a variety of organisations and not simply as solicitors and barristers. Trade Unions, financial and insurance institutions, media groups, advice organisations, charities, the police, NHS, and large businesses, may all have in-house legal teams or advisors. Work experience in such an arena will enable you to appreciate how laws are used in a practical setting, will develop your skills, and will look great on your CV.

Level 4 Diploma in Conveyancing Law and Practice (Conveyancing Technician) & Level 6 Diploma in Conveyancing Law and Practice (Licensed Conveyancer)

Bradford Law School is delighted to offer classroom delivery of the Level 4 conveyancing technician qualification and Level 6 licensed conveyancer qualification. We have a good track record of delivering conveyancing qualifications based on classroom delivery supported by a wide range of resources on our virtual learning environment, Moodle.

Please note that students who have successfully completed a qualifying law degree, or similar course, may be eligible to exemptions from part of these courses.
