Our full and part-time undergraduate and postgraduate courses are validated by Teesside University or EdExcel unless otherwise stated.
The Creative Industries is one of the most important sectors in the British economy and wide ranging skills in the Arts, Media and Design are essential to enable growth in this area.
At Bradford School of Arts & Media you will be encouraged to fulfill your dreams and make your mark in Fashion, Interior Design, Surface Design, Music, Creative Media, Performance and Production Arts, Fine Art, Graphic Design as well as Product Design.
You will develop skills with experts in your chosen field, experience one to one support and develop vocationally relevant skills and knowledge with real careers in mind.
Enrichment is a key part of the life of students in the School of Arts & Media. Activities range widely from, Lecture programmes, exhibitions, soul band, choir, theatrical performances and fashion shows. In addition, students have access to specialist industry equipment and highly skilled technicians with access to workshops outside timetabled time.
Exhibition space is provided in the Dye House Gallery and above all enrichment includes opportunities for life changing trips and visits including trips to: San Sebastian, Spain, Berlin, Lithuania, Paris, Florence, London, student exchange programme (Erasmus) Bilbao; exhibitions at Graduate Fashion Week; new designers; knit and stitch; extra curricular classes (life drawing, rock school) choir; British Youth Film Academy summer school; Edinburgh Festival; numerous exhibitions; Fashion show; exchange programmes in Sri Lanka, Mumbai, Fashion show in Delhi; Bradford Animation Festival; external links with employers (Matthew’s Branding, Hallmark Cards, Alhambra Theatre, National Media Museum, Specsavers, Bradford Council, BBC); The Random Lecture series…. plus many more.
