Design for the Creative Industries

Design courses

The UK has the largest design sector in Europe*, so there has never been a better time to work in this industry.

Graphic Design and Illustration

We’ll equip you with the tools you’ll need to develop as a creative practitioner by delivering a broad-based education in graphic design, illustration and digital media. You’ll gain an understanding of the different cultural, historical and commercial contexts within which industry professionals operate.

You can choose from all aspects of graphic design, illustration and digital media, including print, animation, web design, traditional printmaking, letterpress, digital photography and drawing.

The tutors were very helpful and they genuinely cared about our progress.

Luke Horsley, Graphic Design and Illustration BA (Hons)

Interior Design

By studying Interior Design, you’ll learn how to manipulate and design the space of commercial venues, restaurants, hotels, museums and retail spaces. You’ll investigate thought-provoking themes and explore the impact of environmental
issues, ethical production and sustainability.

Graduate career opportunities range from domestic interior design to commercial projects and event planning.
