The McMillan Faculty of Education hosted an event to promote the Arts in primary education,on the 31st October and this was open to those who work within the arts in primary education.
There were presentations from arts organisations and a range of practical workshops to help you in the classroom.
The event aimed to promote the Arts in primary education, participation in the Arts as a model for learning and living, the raising of awareness of opportunities offered by the Arts to the individual, the community and the economy and the opportunity to explore the spiritual, moral, social and citizenship benefits of pursuing the Arts.

A conference was also held on 04 October 2016 by the faculty aimed at promoting the importance of music and art in primary schools this was hailed a success by its teaching student delegates.
