An Internal Event open that was open to Bradford College Staff.Bill Thompson

Bradford College hosted an annual Online Learning Conference on the 10th May 2017. Students from various departments presented on good practice taking place across the college and how this could be implemented in our own areas.

The keynote speaker at the event was BBC Journalist Bill Thompson from the BBC World Service Programme. Bill is a well-known technology critic and commentator on digital culture. A pioneer of new media in the UK, Bill was Internet ambassador for PIPEX in the early 1990s and founded The Guardian’s New Media Lab in 1995, setting up and editing the first Guardian website.

It was a fantastic opportunity to share good practice and find out how to develop a 21st Century Pedagogy.

The event took place 10 May 2017, 1pm - 4pm at Bradford College, Advanced Technology Centre, Randall Well Street, Bradford, BD7 1AL.
