Go Further with a Higher Level Apprenticeship

Bradford College is one of the largest Further Education Colleges in the country as well as being one of the largest providers of Higher Education outside of the University sector. With fantastic facilities and a great range of career focussed courses we aim to provide students with a set of skills, understandings and personal attributes to be successful in their chosen career.

We listen to our students and those who want to become students. Our past students have told us that they would like to upskill or undertake a qualification in a different area but don’t want to return to full-time study or leave their current employment. This is where the Advanced and Higher Level Apprenticeships can help. Advanced Apprenticeships are equivalent to an A level qualification grade. The Higher Level Apprenticeship is equivalent to a Higher Education Certificate or a Higher National Diploma/Foundation Degree. We are also currently listening to employers to develop Degree Apprenticeships for our faculties to deliver in the near future.

By offering a range of Higher Apprenticeships we hope to give learners the opportunity to move their career forward while working and earning a salary. One of the most appealing benefits to the employee has to be no debt via student loans with the potential to achieve graduate and postgraduate level qualifications in your own work environment.

An Apprenticeship offers the learner a new level of responsibility. Each Apprenticeship is different, but will be stimulating and challenging, enabling you to learn new skills, continue your professional development and realise your full potential. We are already offering a Higher Level Apprenticeship in Leadership and Management and we hope to offer Higher Level Apprenticeships in the following areas in the very near future:

  • Computing
  • Conveyancing
  • Recruitment
  • Art and Design
  • Interactive Design
  • Broadcast Production
  • Hospitality and Tourism
  • Advanced Manufacturing
  • Care Leadership and Management

Alternatively you can attend one of the College’s open days
