Could your business benefit?

A Higher Level Apprenticeship is a great combination of on-the-job training and employees studying for a higher qualification, and will help grow your business's talent by developing a skilled workforce.

But there are not just benefits to the employee with Higher Level Apprenticeships, there are huge benefits to you, the employer. You will provide the unique needs of your business at work and this will be complemented by off-the-job training at Bradford College - helping you to keep your business, up-to-date with the latest techniques and technology as well as increasing productivity. Employers can fill their own skills gaps efficiently and effectively by tailoring the learning to their workplace, whilst offering a clear work based pathway of progression for employees, fostering loyalty amongst existing staff.

Statistics show that employees who are offered Higher Level Apprenticeships within their employment show greater loyalty and often stay with that employer far longer as a result of the training offered.

The Apprenticeship levy came into effect in April 2017. It is payable by employers in the UK with a payroll exceding £3 million at 0.5% of pay roll. It is probable that employers will receive an allowance of £15,000 to offset against payment of the levy.
