Apprentice with hammer

Why choose an Apprenticeship?

If you want to gain qualifications whilst getting paid to get a head-start in your industry of choice, an Apprenticeship is perfect for you!

As well as gaining valuable qualifications which will last a lifetime, you’ll get an insight into the workplace and get paid to build professional skills and important business relationships. Your experience in the sector will put you one step ahead of your competition and form a pathway to permanent employment and progression.

Are you ambitious, yet don’t want to just sit in a classroom?  Are you a practical person that learns better from hands-on experience?  If you are and are itching to break out into the world of work then our Apprentice schemes will be right for you!

The current minimum wage for an Apprentice aged 16-18, or aged 19 and in the first year of an Apprenticeship, is £3.70 per hour and working hours are a minimum of 30 per week. We offer a range of Apprenticeships in partnership with City Taining Services from Level 2 to Level 4.

How much will it cost me?

If you’re aged 16-18, your tuition will be funded, which means that your earnings will be your own. For those aged over 18, your course fees will be subsidised by your Apprentice wage, which makes an Apprenticeship the cheapest and most practical way to study as a mature student.
