New Step Up to College course
Are you aged 16-18 and looking to study a short accredited qualification to prepare you for a full-time College course?
If you are aged between 16 and 18 and not currently attending school, college or completing training or an apprenticeship, or working, you could apply to study a NCFE accredited qualification at Bradford College.
Our NEW short course is being offered to young people not currently in education, employment or training (NEET), with start dates planned for April and June.
The 4 week course will prepare you for starting a full-time College course in September and will offer tasters in vocational subjects.
The short (4 week) programmes will provide an introduction to subject including: Sport and Public Services, Construction Skills, Hospitality and Catering, Hair and Beauty and Travel and Tourism.
The NCFE accredited qualification will give you the chance to experience College life, develop your skills, make new friends and secure a place on a full-time course starting in September*.
The course is planned to start at the end of April and beginning of June**.

Course length: 4 weeks (classes will be 1 day per week)
Qualification: NCFE accredited (Level 1 Award in Personal Development)
Start dates: April and June
Entry requirements: You must not be in education, training or employment currently. There are no formal entry requirements and you will be assessed on an individual basis. You must be keen to learn, able to attend 1 day per week for 4 weeks and want to progress to a full-time course from September.
