Volunteering Opportunities

We can help you volunteer in the community

At the Students’ Union we provide students with access to community volunteering through our partners in Bradford. We do this by making contact with organisations and finding out what volunteering opportunties theyt require We have links with a wide variety of organsations from national charities like Age UK and the British Heart Foundation to local charities like the Food Bank and the Bradford Bike Hub.

Students' Union Projects

Apart from working with organisations in the community, the Students' Union also creates events for students to take part in. Last year for Student Volunteer Week we helped serve food to those in need in Centenary Square.

How volunteering can help you

Our aim over all is to get as many students aware of the benefits of volunteering as possible, both to the CVs and employability and for their own enjoyment and personal development too.

We really believe that getting students involved in the local community will really have a positive impact both with college students and the people/organisations they're helping.
