We can offer you a helping hand if you have a problem or when things go wrong.
The Union offers an independent, confidential, professional advice service to support students facing a wide range of issues. The Union can offer support around the following areas:
- Financial matters (including benefits)
- Academic appeals
- Support with College Disciplinary Procedures
- Consumer Rights
The Students' Union is unable to offer support with immigration cases. For more support on immigration issues please contact the College’s International Team at Registrar Services.
The Advice Service offers drop-in sessions across the College Campus from Monday to Thursday, 11.30am - 1.00pm:

You can make an appointments outside of this time at the Students’ Union Office, G.13 David Hockney Building or by contacting us. In most cases you must attend a drop-in session before making an appointment. Before booking an appointment, please see our Frequently Asked Questions section as it may offer a quick solution to your issue.
The Union works closely with the College’s Guidance Team to ensure that you receive support to progress in your studies and achieve your potential. Together, we have produced a set of Frequently Asked Questions that cover common issues faced by students.
Please take the time to look through these as it may offer a quick solution to your issue and avoid the need to make an appointment.
